Citizens of most countries require a valid visa to enter Bangladesh. Type, the category of visa, and duration of stay are determined/ confirmed by the Embassy. The type and category of visa will vary according to the purpose of the visit, the length of stay, and the bilateral arrangement with the country of the foreign national. Any change in rules and regulations made by the Government of Bangladesh will apply to issuing visas.

General requirements for all categories of Visas:

The following documents are needed to send/ submit to get a visa from the Embassy of Bangladesh:

• 1 (one) copy duly filled-in https://www.visa.gov.bd/
• 1 (one) copy of recent photographs (Size: 37mmX37mm)
• Original valid passport (valid at least for 6 months)
• Proof of payments of required visa fee (please check required visa fee for your country and category) transferred to Embassy Bank Account
• Self-addressed envelope with a sufficient stamp for sending passport by registered post (if you want passport back by post)

  Without German nationality who lives in Germany, need to submit a copy of House registration[Meldebescheinigung] along with the application.
  The complete fee for the visa has to be paid upon application and will not be refunded even if the visa application is rejected.
