নতুন ই-পাসপোর্ট অথবা ই-পাসপোর্ট থেকে ই-পাসপোর্ট রি-ইস্যু/নবায়ন অথবা মেশিন রিডেবল পাসপোর্ট (MRP) থেকে ই-পাসপোর্টে কনভার্সন/রূপান্তরের জন্য নিচের নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী অনলাইনে আবেদন ফর্ম পূরণ করে বারকোডসহ প্রিন্ট করুন। এরপর আবেদনকারীর বায়োমেট্রিক এনরোলমেন্টের জন্য এপয়েন্টমেন্ট বুকিং করে নির্ধারিত তারিখে প্রয়োজনীয় ডকুমেন্টসহ বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, বার্লিনে উপস্থিত থাকতে হবে। (For applying for a new e-passport/re-issue or renew of an e-passport/conversion of MRP to e-passport, please fill out the online application form according to the instructions below and print it with the barcode. Then, book an appointment for the applicant's biometric enrollment and be present at the Bangladesh Embassy in Berlin on the scheduled date and time with the required documents. )

১। শুধুমাত্র জার্মানি/চেক রিপাবলিক/কসোভোতে বসবাসকারী বাংলাদেশি নাগরিকগণ আবেদন করতে পারবেন। "বর্তমান ঠিকানা" অংশে জার্মানি/চেক রিপাবলিক/কসোভোর ঠিকানা উল্লেখ না করলে আবেদনটি বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, বার্লিনে গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে না। (1. Only Bangladeshi citizens residing in Germany / Czech Republic / Kosovo are eligible to apply. If an address in Germany, Czech Republic, or Kosovo is not mentioned in the "Present Address" section, the application will not be accepted by the Embassy of Bangladesh in Berlin.)

২। "ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য" অংশে ভুল মোবাইল নম্বর ও ভুল ইমেইল এড্রেস উল্লেখের কারণে আবেদনকারীর সাথে যোগাযোগ করা সম্ভব না হলে আবেদন বাতিল করা হতে পারে। (2. If an incorrect mobile number or email address is provided in the "Personal Information" section, and the applicant cannot be contacted as a result, the application may be rejected.)

৪। "স্থায়ী ঠিকানা" অংশে বাংলাদেশের স্থায়ী ঠিকানার সকল তথ্য (গ্রাম, পোস্ট অফিস, পোস্ট কোড, থানা, জেলা) সঠিকভাবে উল্লেখ করতে হবে এবং বড় শহরের ক্ষেত্রে বাড়ি নম্বর উল্লেখ করতে হবে। (4. In the "Permanent Address" section, all details of the permanent address in Bangladesh (village, post office, postal code, police station, district) must be mentioned accurately. For major cities, the house number must also be provided.)

৫। "জরুরী যোগাযোগের ঠিকানা" অংশে বাংলাদেশের নিকটাত্মীয়ের ফোন নম্বর ও ঠিকানা উল্লেখ করা যুক্তিসঙ্গত। (5. In the "Emergency Contact Address" section, it is reasonable to provide the phone number and address of a close relative in Bangladesh.)

৬। "মাতা-পিতার তথ্য" অংশে মাতা-পিতার জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র/জন্মনিবন্ধন নম্বর উল্লেখ করুন। (6. In the "Parents' Information" section, please mention the National ID/Birth Registration Number of the applicant’s father and mother.)

প্রয়োজনীয় ডকুমেন্টস: (Required documents):

এপয়েন্টমেন্ট অনুযায়ী নির্ধারিত সময়ে পাসপোর্ট আবেদনের বায়োমেট্রিক এনরোলমেন্টের জন্য নিম্নবর্ণিত ডকুমেন্টস সাথে আনতে হবেঃ (The following documents must be brought during biometric enrollment for e-passport application:)

১। এপয়েন্টমেন্ট কনফারমেশনের প্রমাণক। (1. Proof of appointment confirmation.)

২। অনলাইনে ই-পাসপোর্ট আবেদনের বারকোডযুক্ত প্রিন্ট কপি। (2. Printed copy of the online e-passport application with barcode.)

৩। জন্মস্থান বাংলাদেশে হলে পূর্ববর্তী পাসপোর্ট ও ফটোকপি। পাসপোর্ট হারিয়ে গেলে পাসপোর্ট নম্বরসহ জিডি/লস্ট রিপোর্টের কপি। (3. If the place of birth is Bangladesh: previous passport and photocopy. If the passport is lost, a copy of the General Diary (GD) with the passport number must be provided.)

৪। জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র (NID) অথবা অনলাইন জন্মনিবন্ধন সনদ। পূর্ববর্তী পাসপোর্টে NID নম্বর থাকলে NID আবশ্যক। পাসপোর্ট আবেদনের তথ্যের সাথে জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র বা অনলাইন জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদের তথ্যের- যেমন; নাম, জন্ম তারিখ, জন্মস্থান, পিতার নাম ও মাতার নামের ইংরেজি বানানে (English spelling) পুরোপুরি মিল থাকতে হবে- অন্যথায় ই-পাসপোর্ট সফটওয়্যারে আবেদন প্রসেস করা সম্ভব হবে না। সেক্ষেত্রে জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র বা অনলাইন জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদ সংশোধন করার পর বায়োমেট্রিক এনরোলমেন্টের জন্য দূতাবাসে আসতে হবে। অনলাইন জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদের ইংরেজি তথ্য যাচাইয়ের ওয়েবলিংক: https://everify.bdris.gov.bd/

(4. National ID (NID) or online birth registration certificate. If the NID number is mentioned in the previous passport, then NID is mandatory. The information provided in the passport application— such as name, date of birth, place of birth, father’s name, and mother’s name must exactly match the English spelling of the information in the National ID card / online Birth Registration Certificate . Otherwise, it will not be possible to process the application in the e-passport software. In that case, after getting corrected National ID card / online Birth Registration Certificate, the applicant must appear at the embassy for biometric enrollment. ৫। রেসিডেন্স পারমিট/ আউসভাইসের ফটোকপি। (5. Photocopy of residence permit/Ausweis.)

৬। শিক্ষার্থী হিসেবে আবেদন করলে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের এনরোলমেন্ট সার্টিফিকেট/আইডি কার্ড। (6. In case of student applicant, ID card/ enrolment certificate of the university.)

৭। পাসপোর্টের জন্য দূতাবাসে উপস্থিত থেকে ছবি তুলতে হবে এবং ছবি তোলার সময় সাদা রঙ এর পোশাক গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে না। (7. You must be present at the embassy to take a photo for the passport, and white clothing will not be acceptable when taking the photo)

৮। পোস্টাল সার্ভিসে পাসপোর্ট ডেলিভারির জন্য ডাক টিকেট যুক্ত এনভেলপ। জার্মানির জন্য ৫ ইউরো মুল্যের ডাক টিকেট, চেক রিপাবলিকের জন্য ১০ ইউরো মূল্যের ডাক টিকেট যুক্ত করতে হবে। (8. For passport delivery via postal service, please bring an envelope with postal stamp worth 5 euro for Germany, postal stamp worth 10 euro for Czech Republic.)

৯। শিশুর ক্ষেত্রে বয়স ৬ বছরের কম হলে 10x15 সেন্টিমিটার সাইজের ছবি আনতে হবে। ছবিতে শিশুর মুখ ও শরীর সোজা অবস্থায়, উপরে ও দু'পাশে শরীর থেকে দুই সেন্টিমিটার ফাঁকা থাকতে হবে। এনরোলমেন্টের জন্য সকল ডকুমেন্টসহ পিতা অথবা মাতাকে উপস্থিত থাকতে হবে। [ শিশুর ছবির নমুনা] শিশুর পাসপোর্ট আবেদন প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ব্যক্তির আবেদনের মতোই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। ডকুমেন্ট ও তথ্যের সঠিকতা সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদের প্রয়োজনে পিতা অথবা মাতার উপস্থিতি আবশ্যক। তৃতীয় কোন ব্যক্তির মাধ্যমে কিংবা ডাকযোগে আবেদন প্রেরণ করলে আবেদনটি গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে না।

(9. If the applicant is under 6 years old, a photograph sized 10x15 cm must be submitted. The child's face and body must be straight, with a 2 cm gap from the top and both sides of the body. শিশুর ছবির নমুনা [Sample Picture] Applying for a child’s passport is as important as applying for an adult's. To ensure the accuracy of information and documents, the presence of either parent (father or mother) at the embassy is mandatory for enrolment process. Please note: Applications submitted through a third party or sent via mail may not be acceptable.)

ই-পাসপোর্টের ফি: এপয়েন্টমেন্ট নিয়ে সকল ডকুমেন্টসহ উপস্থিত হয়ে ক্রেডিট কার্ড/ডেবিট কার্ড দিয়ে দূতাবাসের POS মেশিনের মাধ্যমে নির্ধারিত ফি পরিশোধ করতে হবে। উল্লেখ্য, ই-পাসপোর্ট আবেদনের অনলাইন ফরমে সাধারনত মার্কিন ডলারে (USD) ফি প্রদর্শিত হয়। তবে বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, বার্লিনের জন্য সরকারি নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী সকল প্রকার কন্স্যুলার ফি ইউরো মুদ্রায় নির্ধারণ করা আছে। সে অনুযায়ী ই-পাসপোর্ট আবেদনের ফি নিম্নরূপ:

E-passport Fee: The prescribed fee must be paid through POS machine of the Embassy using a bank card. In the online form for e-passport applications, the fees are usually displayed in US dollars (USD). However, according to the government instructions, all types of consular fees are fixed in euros (EUR) for the Embassy of Bangladesh in Berlin. Accordingly, the e-passport application fees are as follows:

** Applicants under the age of 18 can only apply for a 48-page passport with 5-year validity.

** Emergency or Express passport application services are not provided at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Berlin.

(The e-passport application process must be completed in two stages: (a) In the first stage, you must fill out the application form via the online e-passport link and print it out along with the barcode. (b) In the second stage, you must schedule an appointment and physically present yourself at the embassy with the required documents to complete the biometric enrollment.)

উত্তর: ই-পাসপোর্ট আবেদনের প্রথম পর্যায়ে অর্থাৎ অনলাইনে আবেদন ফর্ম পূরণের সময় নিচের ডকুমেন্টগুলো সাথে আছে কিনা তা নিশ্চিত হয়ে নিন: (ক) বাংলাদেশি জন্মনিবন্ধন সনদের ১৭ ডিজিটের অনলাইন কপি/জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র। (খ) আবেদনকারীর পূর্ববর্তী বাংলাদেশি পাসপোর্ট। (গ) জার্মানি/চেক প্রজাতন্ত্র/কসোভোর রেসিডেন্স পারমিট। (ঘ) বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীর ক্ষেত্রে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের এনরোলমেন্ট সার্টিফিকেট। (During the first stage of the e-passport application, when filling out the online application form, ensure that you have the following documents with you: (a) A 17-digit online copy of your Bangladeshi Birth Registration Certificate or National Identity Card (NID). (b) The applicant's previous Bangladeshi passport. (c) A residence permit for Germany, the Czech Republic, or Kosovo. (d) A university enrollment certificate, if the applicant is a university student.)

উত্তর: পাসপোর্ট নম্বর এবং নাম উল্লেখ করে সংশ্লিষ্ট পুলিশ স্টেশনে Lost Report বা GD করতে হবে। Lost Report বা GD কপি দিয়ে ই-পাসপোর্টের আবেদন করা যাবে। (You must file a Lost Report or GD (General Diary) at the relevant police station, stating your passport number and name. You can then apply for the e-passport using a copy of that Lost Report or GD.)

উত্তর: না। শুধুমাত্র বাংলাদেশের অনলাইন জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদের ইংরেজি ভার্সন অনুযায়ী ই-পাসপোর্ট আবেদন করা যাবে। কোনো বিদেশি জন্মনিবন্ধন সনদ কিংবা বাংলাদেশের ম্যানুয়াল পদ্ধতির জন্মনিবন্ধন সনদ দিয়ে ই-পাসপোর্টের আবেদন করা যাবে না। (No. An e-passport application can only be made based on the English version of a Bangladeshi online birth registration certificate. উত্তর: যে অফিস থেকে আপনার জন্ম সনদ ইস্যু করা হয়েছিল সেই অফিসে যোগাযোগ করে সনদটি অনলাইন করতে হবে। (You must contact the office that issued your birth certificate to have the certificate updated online.)

উত্তর: অনলাইন জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদে নাম, জন্ম তারিখ, জন্মস্থান, মাতার নাম ও পিতার নাম এই ৫টি তথ্য ইংরেজিতে উল্লেখ না থাকলে পাসপোর্ট আবেদন গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে না। (Answer: If these 5 pieces of information; name, date of birth, place of birth, mother's name, and father's name are not stated in English on the online birth registration certificate, the passport application will not be accepted.)

প্রশ্ন-১০: জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদ বা জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র কি দূতাবাসে সংশোধন করা যাবে? (Question-10: Can a birth registration certificate or National Identity Card (NID) be corrected at the embassy?)
উত্তর: না। জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদ অথবা জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র যে অফিস থেকে ইস্যু করা হয়েছে সেই অফিসে যোগাযোগ করে সংশোধন করতে হবে। (No. Corrections must be made by contacting the specific office from which the birth registration certificate or National Identity Card (NID) was originally issued.)

প্রশ্ন-১১: আমার পাসপোর্ট আবেদনের তথ্যের সাথে আমার জন্মনিবন্ধন সনদের তথ্যের গড়মিল আছে- এতে কি সমস্যা হবে? (Question-11: There is a discrepancy between the information in my passport application and my birth registration certificate—will this cause a problem?)
উত্তর: জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদ কিংবা জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রে (NID) যে তথ্য রয়েছে সে অনুযায়ী ই-পাসপোর্ট করা হবে। জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদ বা জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রে কোন তথ্য বা বানান (Spelling) ভুল থাকলে সেটা সংশোধন করে তারপর পাসপোর্ট আবেদন করতে হবে। (The e-passport will be issued based on the information contained in the birth registration certificate or the National Identity Card (NID). প্রশ্ন-১২: আমার পূর্ববর্তী MRP অর্থাৎ মেশিন রিডেবল পাসপোর্টে যে তথ্য রয়েছে আমি সে অনুযায়ী নতুন পাসপোর্ট করতে চাই। কিন্তু আমার জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদে তথ্যের সামান্য গড়মিল আছে। এতে কি সমস্যা হবে? (Question-12: I would like to apply for a new passport based on the information contained in my previous MRP (Machine Readable Passport). However, there is a slight discrepancy in the information on my birth registration certificate. Will this cause any issues?)
উত্তর: আপনার পুরাতন পাসপোর্টের তথ্য অনুযায়ী ই-পাসপোর্ট ইস্যু করা যাবে না, বরং অনলাইন জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদের ইংরেজি তথ্য অথবা জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের তথ্য অনুযায়ী ই-পাসপোর্ট ইস্যু করা হয়। (An e-passport cannot be issued based on the information in your old passport; instead, it is issued based on the English-language details from your online birth registration certificate or the information on your National Identity Card.)
