Requirements for ‘No Visa Required (NVR)’

The following documents are required to submit/send to Embassy to receive No Visa Required (NVR):

জার্মান/বিদেশী পাসপোর্টে ‘নো ভিসা রিকোয়ার্ড (NVR)’ পাওয়ার জন্য নিম্নলিখিত কাগজপত্র দূতাবাসে জমা দিতে/পাঠাতে হবে:

1. 01 (one) copy of the duly filled-in online application form with BAR CODE. Any pre-downloaded visa form filled in electronically or Hand written application will not be accepted.    (০১) কপি সঠিকভাবে পূরণ করা অনলাইন আবেদন ফর্ম, যাতে বার কোড (BAR CODE) আছে। হাতে লেখা বা আগে থেকে ডাউনলোড করা কোনো ফর্ম গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে না। এই লিঙ্কে ক্লিক করে ফর্মটি পূরণ করুন: https://visa.gov.bd/। ফর্ম পূরণে কোনো অসুবিধা হলে এই নির্দেশিকা অনুসরণ করুন: How to Fill out Visa Application Form
2. 01 (one) recent passport-size photo of the applicant;
   আবেদনকারীর একটি (০১) সাম্প্রতিক পাসপোর্ট আকারের ছবি;
3. Orginal German/Foreign Passport (valid at least for six months) of the applicant;
   আবেদনকারীর মূল জার্মান/বিদেশী পাসপোর্ট (কমপক্ষে ছয় মাসের মেয়াদ থাকতে হবে);
4. Copy of the valid or expired Bangladesh Passport (information/data page only), or Copy of the Dual Citizenship Certificate, or Copy of previous NVR sticker/seal including copy of the information/data page of the same German/Foreign passport where the sticker was issued;
   বৈধ বা মেয়াদোত্তীর্ণ বাংলাদেশী পাসপোর্টের অনুলিপি (শুধুমাত্র তথ্য/ডাটা পাতা) অথবা, দ্বৈত নাগরিকত্ব সনদের অনুলিপি অথবা পূর্বের NVR স্টিকার/সিলের কপি, এবং যে জার্মান/বিদেশী পাসপোর্টে স্টিকারটি ইস্যু করা হয়েছিল তার তথ্য/ডাটা পৃষ্ঠার অনুলিপি।
5. For spouse applications, provide a copy of the valid or expired Bangladeshi passport (information/data page only) or the Dual Citizenship Certificate or previous NVR sticker/seal, along with a copy of the information/data page of the corresponding German/foreign passport containing the visa, and the marriage certificate.
   স্বামী/ স্ত্রির আবেদনের ক্ষেত্রে স্বামী বা স্ত্রীর বৈধ বা মেয়াদোত্তীর্ণ বাংলাদেশি পাসপোর্টের কপি (শুধুমাত্র তথ্য/ডাটা পৃষ্ঠা), অথবা দ্বৈত নাগরিকত্ব সনদের কপি, অথবা পূর্ববর্তী এনভিআর (NVR) স্টিকার/সিলের কপি এবং সেই একই জার্মান/বিদেশি পাসপোর্টের তথ্য/ডাটা পৃষ্ঠার কপি যেখানে ভিসা সংযুক্ত ছিল এবং বিবাহের সনদ দিতে হবে।
6. For children’s applications, provide a copy of the birth certificate indicating the parents’ names.
   শিশুদের আবেদনে ক্ষেত্রে পিতামাতার নাম উল্লেখসহ জন্ম সনদের কপি দিতে হবে
7. Copy of a letter from German/Foreign Authority in case of name change;
   যদি নাম পরিবর্তন হয়ে থাকে, তবে জার্মান/বিদেশী কর্তৃপক্ষের কাছ থেকে একটি চিঠির অনুলিপি;
   
8. Proof of payment of Euro 90 (Ninety Euros) transferred to the Embassy Account;
   €৯০ (নব্বই ইউরো) দূতাবাস অ্যাকাউন্টে স্থানান্তরের মাধ্যমে ফি পরিশোধের প্রমাণপত্র
9. Make payments for your Visa processing Fee by Bank Transfer ONLY to the bank account of the Embassy of Bangladesh. Cash/personal cheque is NOT accepted.
   ভিসা প্রসেসিং ফি শুধুমাত্র দূতাবাসের ব্যাংক ট্রান্সফারের মাধ্যমে গ্রহণ করা হয়। নগদ টাকা বা ব্যক্তিগত চেক গ্রহণযোগ্য নয়
10. Visa fees are received for processing your applications. Hence, Visa fees are non-refundable even if an application is rejected or withdrawn or a different category of visa is issued.
    ভিসা ফি আপনার আবেদন প্রক্রিয়াকরণের জন্য গ্রহণ করা হয়। তাই, আবেদন প্রত্যাখ্যান, প্রত্যাহার, বা ভিন্ন ক্যাটাগরির ভিসা ইস্যু হলেও ভিসা ফি ফেরতযোগ্য নয়
11. Please be aware that it takes a minimum of 1-২ weeks to process the visa

13. Please send a self-addressed return envelope with registered mail (Einschreiben) and tracking, including at least €5 postage, so we can return your passport by post;
    পাসপোর্ট ডাকযোগে ফেরত পেতে আপনার ঠিকানাসহ একটি খাম পাঠান, যাতে রেজিস্টার্ড ডাক (Einschreiben) ও ট্র্যাকিং থাকে এবং অন্তত €৫ ডাকটিকিট লাগানো থাকে,
14. An applicant without German nationality who lives in Germany needs to submit a copy of House Registration [Meldebescheinigung] along with the application;
    জার্মানিতে বসবাসকারী অন্য নাগরিকদের আবেদনপত্রের সাথে হাউস রেজিস্ট্রেশন [Meldebescheinigung] এর কপি জমা দিতে হবে;
15. Send printed application, all the mentioned documents, applicant’s original passport, proof of payment/fees by Bank transfer, return envelope altogether to the Embassy by post, or submit in person;
    উপরে উল্লিখিত সকল ডকুমেন্ট, আবেদনকারীর মূল পাসপোর্ট, ব্যাংক ট্রান্সফারের মাধ্যমে ফি পরিশোধের প্রমাণ এবং ফেরত খাম একসাথে ডাকযোগে দূতাবাসে প্রেরণ করুন অথবা ব্যক্তিগতভাবে জমা দিতে হবে;

1. Please fulfil all requirements of application and paperwork to avoid any delay in visa processing

2. Foreign citizens (except SAARC countries) of Bangladesh origin are eligible for endorsement of ‘No Visa Required (NVR) sticker’ in their foreign passports

প্রশ্ন: কে NVR এর আবেদন করতে পারবেন? (Question: Who can apply for an NVR?)

উত্তর: বাংলাদেশি বংশোদ্ভূত বিদেশি নাগরিক, তাঁদের স্ত্রী/স্বামী এবং সন্তানরা নির্দিষ্ট শর্তে আবেদন করতে পারেন। (Answer: Foreign citizens of Bangladeshi origin, along with their spouses and children, may apply subject to specific conditions.)

প্রশ্ন: আমি অনলাইনে আবেদন ফর্ম পুরন করতে পারছি না। আমি কি হাতে লিখে কিংবা কম্পিউটারে টাইপ করে আবেদন দিলে কাজ হবে? (Question: I am unable to fill out the application form online. Will it be accepted if I submit the application by writing it by hand or typing it on a computer?)

উত্তর: না, আপনাকে অবশ্যই অনলাইনে আবেদন ফর্ম পুরন করতে হবে। আবেদন পূরণ করার পর স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে ৪ পেজের একটি ফর্ম তৈরি হবে যাতে বারকোড থাকবে। আবেদন পূরণ করতে সমস্যা হলে How to Fill out Visa Application Form এই নির্দেশিকা দেখে পূরণ করতে পারবেন। (Answer: No, you must fill out the application form online. Once the application is completed, a four-page form containing a barcode will be automatically generated. প্রশ্ন: কি কি কাগজপত্র প্রয়োজন? (Question: What documents are required?)

উত্তর: অনলাইনে পূরণকৃত ফর্ম, পাসপোর্ট, ছবি, নাগরিকত্বের প্রমাণপত্র, ব্যাংক ট্রান্সফারের রসিদ এবং অন্যান্য সহায়ক কাগজপত্র জমা দিতে হয়। (Answer: The online-filled form, passport, photograph, proof of citizenship, bank transfer receipt, and other supporting documents must be submitted.)

প্রশ্ন: অরিজিনাল পাসপোর্ট পাঠাতে হবে? (Question: Do I need to send the original passport?)

উত্তর: জি, অবশ্যই। (Answer: Yes, certainly.)

প্রশ্নঃ আমার দ্বৈত নাগরিকত্ব আছে তাহলে কি আমার নো ভিসা রিকোয়ার্ড (এনভিআর) নিতে হবে? (Question: I hold dual citizenship; do I need to obtain a No Visa Required (NVR) endorsement?)

উত্তরঃ উত্তর: জি, অবশ্যই। (Answer: Yes, certainly.)

উত্তর: সাধারণত ১-২ সপ্তাহ সময় লাগে, তবে যাচাই বা অতিরিক্ত নথি প্রয়োজন হলে সময় বাড়তে পারে। (Answer: It usually takes 1–2 weeks, but the timeframe may be extended if verification or additional documents are required.)

প্রশ্ন: ফি কিভাবে পরিশোধ করতে হয়? (Question: How do I pay the fee?)

উত্তর: ফি শুধুমাত্র ব্যাংক ট্রান্সফারের মাধ্যমে গ্রহণযোগ্য। নগদ বা চেক গ্রহণ করা হয় না। (Answer: The fee is payable only via bank transfer. Cash or cheques are not accepted.)

প্রশ্ন: আমি কীভাবে জানব আমার আবেদনটি সম্পন্ন হয়েছে কি না? (Question: How will I know whether my application has been completed?)

উত্তর: নিজে গিয়ে সংগ্রহ করা যায় অথবা ০৫ ইউরো প্রিপেইড (ট্র্যাকিং সহ) রিটার্ন খামের মাধ্যমে ডাকযোগে সংগ্রহ করতে পারেন। (Answer: You can collect it in person or via post using a €5 prepaid return envelope (with tracking).)

প্রশ্ন: কাউকে দিয়ে পাসপোর্ট সংগ্রহ করা যাবে? (Question: Can someone else collect the passport?)

উত্তর: হ্যাঁ, লিখিত অনুমতি ও পরিচয়পত্রের কপি দিয়ে সম্ভব। (Answer: Yes, it is possible with written permission and a copy of an identity document.)

প্রশ্ন: আবেদন প্রত্যাখ্যাত হলে ফি ফেরত পাওয়া যাবে কি? (Question: Will the fee be refunded if the application is rejected?)

উত্তর: নতুন পাসপোর্টে নতুন করে NVR আবেদন করতে হবে। (Answer: You need to apply for an NVR afresh for the new passport.)
